The truth is our society is full of the expectations that you just do things already.
Just exercise already. Just lose weight already. Just make a million dollars. Just be massively successful at your career. Just. Just. Just.
The truth is this perspective ignores almost everything going on beneath the surface.
There are so many valid reasons why you might not just hit publish already.

If you're like me, then you have come by your fears honestly.
You have had experiences where you have been rejected, shamed, or blamed when you shared your truth.
You have been taught in one way or another that who you are isn't acceptable.
And so when you have the desire to write and share your work online, of course this isn't one of those things you can just force yourself to do.
Publishing online is a big emotional risk, where you could potentially be rejected, shamed, and blamed all over again.
