I’m Emma Veritas
Reader, writer, and mystic.
For the past twenty years, I’ve been devoted to the slow, steady path of mystical practice. My work has grown through ritual, divination, meditation, and nature connection—tools that have helped me find clarity, healing, and guidance throughout my life.
I grew up evangelical Christian, and when I left the church in my early twenties, I found myself without a spiritual structure but still carrying a deep longing for connection, meaning, and a sense of the sacred.
Mystical practice became the way I rebuilt my relationship with the spiritual on my own terms—slowly, intentionally, with clarity instead of fear and curiosity instead of certainty. That process shaped everything that followed.
My path deepened as I learned Reiki and started a small, thriving healing community in New Hampshire. Over time I studied shamanic journeying with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, completed Martha Beck’s life coach training, became an endorsed Soul’s Calling Coach through Bev Barnes, and explored astrology, alchemical chocolate facilitation, and ritual training.
Each study helped me understand how humans make meaning, how we orient ourselves spiritually, and how practice supports a grounded, daily relationship with the sacred.
I’ve guided others in mystical practices for two decades.
As a Reiki practitioner, coach, group facilitator, and now as the writer of Mystics Reading Society, I teach seekers how to live mystically and orient themselves through depth, clarity, and reflection.
I have built and lived my spiritual life from the inside outward.
My rituals, nature connection, contemplative reading, and inner listening are the practices that helped me heal from the rigidity of my early spiritual upbringing—and step into a form of spirituality that feels spacious, grounded, and trustworthy.
The Living Mystically Collective brings together the tools and foundations that have supported me for two decades. It teaches you how to build a spiritual practice that is clear, steady, and self-supported—so you can trust your own wisdom and walk your path with confidence and rhythm.
My intention is simple: To teach you the skills that help you develop a spiritual life you can trust—one rooted in clarity, depth, and your own inner guidance.
Today I live with my husband in a small coastal city in Portugal, where the rhythm of the ocean, the cliffs, and the changing light continue to shape my understanding of nature-based mysticism and the everyday sacred.
