What's possible when you get the help you need

When I completed Martha Beck’s Life Coach Training, the first thing I needed to do was start my business.

I was excited, but I was also TERRIFIED. I didn’t know how to start a business. I wasn’t sure who I wanted to work with or what I really wanted to do. I was scared of putting myself out there, and I didn't know how to do it. I was also ashamed about not knowing what to do.

Instead of getting started, I sat on the couch for 4 months, wallowing in self-pity, while continuing my part time data management job. It was….miserable.

The funny thing was that even though I had just completed life coach training, a vocation designed to help others, I didn’t think to ask for help for myself. I didn’t reach out to coaches. I didn’t read books. I didn’t do anything.

Those four months were really painful. I berated myself constantly about being a failure, about how I could never do anything, and how I was a total embarrassment to friends and family.

And then something changed. I got an email from one of my life coach teachers about a training she was offering. I checked out her website, saw that her program addressed the exact problem I was having, and I took a a leap.

I signed up for her program, and nothing has been the same since. With the right help and support, I was able to get off the couch and start my business. I started writing my blog, sending my newsletter, and coaching clients. It was awesome.

It turned out pursuing my most vulnerable creative dream on my own didn’t work well for me. Pursuing it with someone on my side who believed in me, however, was a game changer, and this is exactly why I want to help support you with your vulnerable creative dream.

I am a blogging coach for women who want to start blogging, but who are scared of writing online and don’t know how to start.

I know how painful it can be to try to do a creative dream on your own. It can be almost impossible to stop all the painful stories from sabotaging your goals. It’s so hard to disrupt the patterns you’ve learned through a life time of hiding your true self.

What I have learned is that having someone in your corner, someone who believes in you and someone who very much wants you to succeed at your goal, can make all the difference.

I would love to be that person for you - the person who is 100% on your side, the person who is here to help you start writing your blog and keep writing.

Right now I am opening space for 3 new clients to work one-on-one with me to:

  • Design a creative brief for your blog, answering the who, what, when, where, and why of your wildly authentic writing

  • Write and publish your first three blog posts

  • Make a plan to keep posting, even when it feels super scary.

To get started, email me and let me know you'd like to schedule a complimentary call with me, or you can read more about the program here!

These coaching spots are available until this Wednesday November 25, 2020.

xoxo,

Emma
